LOEWE
Spanish luxury brand LOEWE, under the LVMH Group, has announced the appointment of chef Chen Jie (left in the photo below) and screenwriter Qin Wen (right in the photo below) as the brand’s China Cultural Advisors.
The brand noted that both individuals resonate strongly with LOEWE’s creative spirit and cultural values, and will collaborate with the brand on a series of special projects.
Chen Jie was formerly a Kunqu Opera performer who transitioned to become a creative chef at the age of 30. She trained at Spain’s Mugaritz, ranked seventh among the world’s top restaurants, and later returned to Shanghai to join Ultraviolet. She went on to become the head chef at High 澐涧 by Light & Salt and is currently the head chef at Fuming. She is known for blending Chinese culture and Eastern aesthetics with modern culinary techniques.
Screenwriter Qin Wen is renowned for portraying complex human nature through a female perspective. Her notable works include The First Half of My Life, Ode to Joy, My Best Friend’s Story, and Blossoms Shanghai.
Chanel
French luxury brand Chanel has appointed Ruth Warder as its newly established Global Chief Communications Officer, effective this September.
In her new role, Ruth Warder will be based in London and will be responsible for formulating communication strategies to elevate the brand’s reputation and visibility. She will report directly to Chanel’s Global CEO Leena Nair.
Ruth Warder brings extensive experience across the technology, retail, entertainment, luxury, and FMCG sectors. She joined global communications firm Edelman in 2013 and previously served as Managing Director at Jackie Cooper PR. Her career began at Freud Communications.
In addition, Krzysztof Lukasik has joined Chanel as Design Director for Small Leather Goods, Accessories, and Eyewear.
Previously, Krzysztof Lukasik held the same title at Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta. He has also worked at Hermès, Loewe, Lanvin, and Victoria Beckham, gaining broad industry experience. He founded his own company, STUDIO KJL, and has served as a creative consultant for brands such as Wales Bonner, Moschino, and Trussardi over the past five years.

In her new role, Heather Kaminetsky will be responsible for defining and driving a revitalized customer proposition globally while streamlining the organizational structure.
Heather Kaminetsky joined Mytheresa in 2021 as President of North America, where she led all customer-facing activities in the U.S. and Canada. From 2013 to 2016, she served as Global Vice President of Marketing at Net-A-Porter.
Brigitte Chartrand, in her new position, will oversee merchandising and buying across all categories. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the fashion and luxury sectors. Previously, she served as VP of Womenswear, Kidswear, and Other Categories at Ssense. Earlier in her career, she founded the boutique Reborn.
Claudia Plant will oversee marketing, branding, and content in her new role. She co-founded Net-A-Porter in 1999 and was its very first employee, playing a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s distinctive voice, identity, and editorial spirit, effectively redefining online luxury fashion.
Most recently, Claudia Plant served as Chief Marketing Officer at Stella McCartney and has also held executive roles at Hunter and Burberry.
Jeffrey Trosch, currently Director of Marketing for North America, will lead marketing, consumer engagement, and PR efforts in the region in his new role. His previous experience includes positions at Shinola and Moët Hennessy.
Chris Chan, who has spent the past three years as Director of Marketing and Communications for YNAP in Asia-Pacific, has a long-standing connection with the company.
