On 18 January, British luxury brand Burberry Group PLC announced its financial data for the third quarter of the 2022/23 fiscal year ending December 31, 2022. Overall, retail sales rose 5% to £756 million, flat year-on-year at constant exchange rates. In the third quarter, comparable store sales increased by 1%, impacted by COVID-19-related disruption in Mainland China. Excluding Mainland China, comparable store sales grew by 11%. EMEIA comparable store sales grew 19%, Americas -1%, APAC -7% with Mainland China -23%.
