LVMH’s Strategy for Connecting Fashion and Sport at the Paris Olympics

As a Premium Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympics, LVMH drew on the Group’s creative excellence and the savoir-faire of its Maisons like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Berluti to make this milestone in sports history a memorable moment for millions of spectators worldwide.

Dressed in Dior, as were her ten dancers, Lady Gaga performed the iconic “Mon truc en plumes”, an homage to Zizi Jeanmaire and the cult choreography of Roland Petit – for whom Christian Dior designed ballet costumes.In an incredible grand finale, global star Céline Dion gave a grandiose and scintillating performance from the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Thousands of pearls and more than 500 meters of fringe were embroidered directly on Celine Dion’s body.

Louis Vuitton is contributing to the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 with bespoke versions of its iconic trunks to safeguard unique symbols of the Olympic Games. The Medals Trunks safeguard and showcase the medals designed by Chaumet, while the Torch Trunk housed the Olympic Torch during its journey across France to Paris.

For the Opening Ceremony, Berluti has styled custom-tailored ensembles for Team France athletes and coaches that embody ‘élegance à la française.’ The French Maison has crafted tuxedo-inspired outfits with a unique ‘French flag’ patina of blue and red shades.

And throughout the Games, Moët Hennessy‘s wine and spirits Houses provided products for hospitality programs, bringing guests exceptional tasting experiences.
