Internationally renowned luxury auction house Bonhams has appointed Céline Assimon as Chief Commercial Officer.

Céline Assimon previously served as Chief Executive Officer of De Beers Jewellers, a role she stepped down from at the end of February this year.

She joined the De Beers Group in 2020 as CEO of De Beers Jewellers, the Group’s high-end luxury jewelry brand. In 2021, she also assumed the role of CEO of De Beers Forevermark, the premium diamond jewelry brand, a position she held until March 2024.

Before joining De Beers, Céline Assimon was CEO of Swiss jeweler De Grisogono. She also held roles in sales, marketing, and communications at Piaget and Louis Vuitton.

British luxury and streetwear retailer END. has appointed Sebastian Suhl as its new CEO. He will assume the role this summer.

Upon taking office, Sebastian Suhl will lead the company’s efforts in sustainable growth and continued innovation. He will succeed Parker Gundersen, who has stepped down. Until Suhl assumes the role, current CFO Karen Dracou will serve as interim CEO.

Sebastian Suhl most recently served as CEO of Mosaiq Group, a company focused on luxury and sustainable packaging.

Suhl brings extensive experience in the luxury sector. He joined Italian luxury brand Prada in 2001 as General Manager for the French market, later becoming CEO of Prada Asia Pacific and then Group COO, overseeing international retail and digital marketing.

After 11 years at Prada, Suhl became CEO of Givenchy, a brand under the LVMH Group, in 2012. In 2014, he was appointed CEO of Marc Jacobs International, another LVMH-owned label. In 2017, Suhl joined Italian luxury brand Valentino as Global Managing Director for Markets, a position he held until resigning at the end of 2019. In October 2020, he became CEO of Italian luxury brand Trussardi, where he remained until 2023.

Gulf Craft

UAE-based luxury yacht and superyacht manufacturer Gulf Craft has announced the return of Erwin Bamps as Chief Executive Officer.

Erwin Bamps’ return marks a new era of global expansion and increased production for Gulf Craft.

Bamps initially joined the company in 2002 and was instrumental in transforming it from a regional yacht builder into a globally recognized superyacht manufacturer. He served as CEO from 2004 to 2018.

Gulf Craft’s current portfolio includes several high-profile yachts under its Majesty Yachts brand, including the Majesty 145, Majesty 120, Majesty 111, and the new Majesty 100 Terrace. All of these yachts have either recently been delivered or are under construction at the company’s main shipyard.
