The American beauty giant Estée Lauder Cos. has appointed Rashida La Lande as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, succeeding Deirdre Stanley, who has left the company.
In her new role, Rashida La Lande will lead Estée Lauder’s global legal strategy and policies, reporting directly to CEO Fabrizio Freda and Executive Chairman of the Board William P. Lauder.
Previously, Rashida La Lande served as General Counsel of the food and beverage giant The Kraft Heinz Company for six years and was also a partner at the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
Allbirds
San Francisco-based innovative footwear manufacturer Allbirds, Inc. has appointed Ravi Thanawala as a member of its Board of Directors, replacing Mandy Fields, effective September 10.
Ravi Thanawala’s most recent position was Chief Financial Officer and Interim CEO of the fast-food company Papa John’s International, Inc. He also held various roles at Nike, including CFO for Nike North America, Global Vice President and CFO of the Converse brand, and Vice President of Global Retail Excellence. He led franchising, licensing, direct sales, and wholesale operations during the company’s digital transformation. He holds a bachelor’s degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Stance
California-based sock brand Stance has appointed David Tichiaz as CEO, succeeding co-founder John Wilson, who will remain with the company as an advisor.

David Tichiaz joined Stance in 2023 after serving as Vice President of the Americas region at Vans for two years. Before that, he spent 13 years at Vans in various roles, including Vice President of the EMEA region, Vice President of Merchandising for North America, and Vice President of Lifestyle and Core Channel Sales.
