French Corporate Executives from LVMH and Hermès Meet with China’s Commerce Minister in Paris

The Group’s Chief Financial Officer, Jean-Jacques Guiony, Financial Communications Director, Christopher Hollis, and Deputy Director of Investor Relations, Rodolphe Ozun, attended a conference call to interpret the performance for the first half of the year.

Jean-Jacques Guiony admitted that compared to the high growth of the past few years, the current “normalization” seems abnormal.

“We need to show more resilience, we need more engines, and one of them is certainly China, as we see the rise of the middle class. The primary goal is to establish visibility and credibility in the Chinese market.”
