Isabel Marant
French designer brand Isabel Marant has appointed Sophie Condroyer as Chief Marketing Officer.
In her new role, Sophie Condroyer will be responsible for the brand’s global marketing and communications strategy, reporting directly to CEO Anouck Duranteau-Loeper.
Most recently, Condroyer served as Chief Marketing Officer at French luxury brand Chloé, where she established the brand’s marketing office within the communications department, overseeing social media, media relations, and strategic planning.
She holds a degree in law and is a graduate of ESSEC Business School. In 2009, she joined Louis Vuitton under the LVMH Group and was promoted to Global Head of Digital Communications in 2012. In 2016, she moved to Kering Group and joined Saint Laurent, where she led media relations, marketing, and digital communications. Two years later, she transitioned to Chloé, part of Richemont Group.
At the same time, Isabel Marant has promoted Jean-Philippe Abautret, former Communications Director, to Senior Vice President of Global Communications.
In his new role, Abautret will oversee communications strategy, media relations, celebrity relations, key opinion leader (KOL) engagement, events, social media, and creative talent management. He joined Isabel Marant as Communications Director in 2020, having previously worked at communications agency KCD, where he handled the Isabel Marant account for over eight years.
Drumohr
Established in 1770, Scottish brand Drumohr has appointed Massimiliano Giornetti as its first-ever Creative Director.
In his new role, Giornetti will be responsible for repositioning the brand.
He graduated from Polimoda Fashion School in Florence and later studied at the London College of Fashion. Giornetti began his career under Italian couture designer Anton Giulio Grande and joined Ferragamo in 2000 to oversee menswear design. He received widespread acclaim after launching Ferragamo’s womenswear line in 2010 and was promoted to Creative Director in 2011, a position he held until his departure in 2016. In 2017, he became Design Director at the Chinese luxury brand Shanghai Tang.
Drumohr is renowned for its high-end knitwear collections, with clientele including the British royal family, the King of Norway, and celebrities such as Audrey Hepburn and James Stewart.
In 2006, the brand was acquired by the Ciocca Group, which also owns sock brands Ciocca and Sozzi, as well as knitwear brands Rossopuro and Heritage. Following the acquisition, production was moved from Scotland to Italy, and the brand opened boutiques in key locations including Milan, Turin, Rome, and Forte dei Marmi.
Gap Inc.
American apparel group Gap Inc. has appointed Mame Annan-Brown as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, a newly created position, effective June 30.
In this role, Annan-Brown will play a key role in advancing Gap’s brand narrative and reinforcing the company’s purpose-driven strategic objectives through concrete actions. She will report directly to President and CEO Richard Dickson.
Annan-Brown brings 25 years of leadership experience in communications and public affairs across the apparel industry, global finance, international development, and public policy. She has elevated the reputation and impact of global institutions, helping to define and amplify their missions. Most recently, she served as EVP of Global Communications and Public Affairs at Kontoor Brands and as Chair of the Kontoor Brands Foundation. Prior to that, she served as Global Head of External Relations at the IFC, part of the World Bank Group, and held senior roles in investment banking at J.P. Morgan.
Fossil
U.S.-based lifestyle and fashion brand group Fossil Group has appointed Laks Lakshmanan as its first Chief Supply Chain Officer, effective June 16.
In this role, Lakshmanan will oversee the group’s end-to-end global supply chain operations, including manufacturing, sourcing, distribution, and logistics across all brands and regions. He will also supervise the company’s global business services operations based in Bangalore, India.
Lakshmanan has over 20 years of supply chain leadership experience with deep expertise in network design, integrated planning, cost transformation, and operational excellence. He has advised and led projects for Fortune 500 companies in the consumer goods and retail sectors. Most recently, he was Managing Director of the Consumer and Retail practice at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M). Over the past two years, he has served as Interim Head of Supply Chain at Fossil as part of a collaboration between the company and A&M.
Prior to joining A&M, Lakshmanan held senior operations roles at companies including Kearney and Target.
Swarovski
Austrian crystal brand Swarovski has appointed Samantha Jeffries as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland.
In her new role, Jeffries will focus on expanding the brand’s “Pop Luxury” positioning in the UK and Ireland, deepening customer engagement, and supporting the continued growth of the brand in these markets.
Jeffries has been with the brand for over a decade, initially joining as a London Area Manager and later overseeing operations across both retail and wholesale channels.
