Italian luxury group Prada has appointed Silvia Onofri as the CEO of Miu Miu, effective February 26.
In her new role, Silvia Onofri will succeed Benedetta Petruzzo, who has joined Christian Dior Couture, a French luxury brand under LVMH, as General Manager.
Silvia Onofri began her career at Italian luxury jewelry brand BVLGARI. In 2008, she joined Swiss luxury leather goods brand Bally as Global Travel Retail Trade Marketing Manager, gradually rising through the ranks. By July 2018, she became CEO of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) before being promoted to Chief Commercial Officer for Global Wholesale.
In February 2023, she joined Napapijri, a brand under U.S. outdoor and sportswear group VF Corporation, as Brand President. Her primary responsibilities included leading the brand’s next phase of growth across EMEA and globally. During her tenure, she repositioned the brand in the market and appointed Christopher Raeburn as its first Global Creative Director.
Richemont
Swiss luxury conglomerate Richemont has announced three new members joining its Executive Committee:
- Catherine Renier, CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels
- Louis Ferla, CEO of Cartier
- Marie-Aude Stocker, Chief Human Resources Officer of Richemont

Catherine Renier assumed the role of CEO at Van Cleef & Arpels in July 2024, having previously served as CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre. With over 20 years of experience in Richemont’s luxury jewelry and watchmaking division, she joined the group in 1999 as Retail Development Director for Cartier North America in New York. In 2003, she moved to Paris to become Deputy Marketing Manager at Van Cleef & Arpels, contributing to the brand’s development. In 2008, she relocated to Hong Kong to support the brand’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific market, first as Commercial Director and later, in 2011, as Managing Director for Hong Kong and Macau. She then took on the role of President of Asia-Pacific before being appointed CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2018.
Louis Ferla became CEO of Cartier in July 2024, having previously led Vacheron Constantin as its CEO. He joined Richemont in 2001 as Sales Manager for Dunhill in Hong Kong, later moving to Taipei as General Manager. In 2006, he joined Cartier, holding senior management roles across the Middle East, India, and Africa before becoming CEO of Cartier China. In 2015, he was promoted to Cartier’s Executive Committee, serving as International Client & Business Director. Since 2017, he had been the CEO of Vacheron Constantin.
Marie-Aude Stocker was previously Director of Human Resources, Development, and Prospects at Van Cleef & Arpels before assuming her new role as Richemont’s Chief Human Resources Officer. She is a graduate of ESCP Business School in Paris and holds a certificate from the Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defense (IHEDN) in France.
Meanwhile, Jérôme Lambert has stepped down from Richemont’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, taking on the role of CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Jérôme Lambert has been with Richemont for over 26 years, starting in 1996 in the finance department of Jaeger-LeCoultre. From 2002 to 2013, he served as CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, helping streamline operations, expand Richemont’s directly operated boutiques, and earning the trust of Richemont Chairman Johann Rupert. In 2013, he became CEO of Montblanc, and in 2017, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Richemont, playing a key role in difficult strategic decisions, including stock buybacks during a period of watch market oversupply. In September 2018, he was promoted to CEO of Richemont, before returning to the COO role in June 2024.
Capri Holdings Ltd
U.S. luxury group Capri Holdings Ltd (hereafter referred to as Capri) has appointed Philippa Newman as Chief Brand and Product Officer, effective immediately.
Philippa Newman most recently served as Chief Product Officer of Capri, and in his new role, he will oversee all product and marketing functions, aiming to deliver a compelling and cohesive brand experience aligned with Capri’s heritage. He will continue reporting to John D. Idol, Chairman and CEO of Capri Holdings and Michael Kors.
Philippa Newman has been with Michael Kors for over 16 years, previously serving as President of Accessories and Footwear. In November 2024, he was appointed Chief Product Officer of Capri Holdings.
