P&G Takes Over Mielle Organics from Berkshire Partners

On January 12, Berkshire Partners announced that it had sold its shares in Mielle Organics, a naturally curly hair care brand. Mielle Organics will then join P&G Beauty, the beauty department of Procter & Gamble. At the same time, the founder couple, Monique Rodriguez and Melvin Rodriguez will continue to lead Mielle Organics, which operates as an independent subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, and will serve as CEO and COO, respectively.
