After the closing bell on May 10th, Milan local time, Italian luxury group Tod’s announced its key financial data for the first quarter of 2023. Thanks to the strong performance in the Chinese market, the group’s consolidated sales grew by 23.2% year-on-year to €270.5 million, or 23.3% at a fixed exchange rate, surpassing analysts’ expectations. Among them, the Chinese market saw a significant year-on-year increase of 29% to €88.6 million, accounting for 32.8% of the group’s total revenue, making it the largest market for the Group.
