Swarovski’s New CEO: Expects to Return to Profits Again in 2023

Sales of Swarovski have already increased by about ten percent to about 1.9 billion euros in 2022, with online sales accounting for 20 percent of the business, said the new CEO Alexis Nasard on Wednesday in Vienna. He believes that the group should start making profits again in 2023. 
While declining to provide sales figures, the executive said profit rose 70 percent compared with 2021. “This is a good momentum for the business, and we are increasing production by 50 percent.” There is no plan to cut the number of employees, which currently stands at around 18,500, Nasard also said.
