In November, the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton opened a home space at the Louis Vuitton Maison in Beijing’s China World Trade Center, showcasing a curated selection of Objets Nomades travel-inspired furniture, tableware, lifestyle, and decorative items.

The Louis Vuitton home space spans 200 square meters and continues the design language of the Maison. The store’s distinct spaces recreate modern living scenarios, blending tradition with modernity and merging cutting-edge individuality with contemporary art.

Upon entering the Louis Vuitton home space, the first area is a reception lounge inspired by the ASNIÈRES family workshop. The ceiling, wall decorations, and window frames replicate those found in the Louis Vuitton family residence in ASNIÈRES. This area features the Bomboca sofa and Merengue cushions designed by Estúdio Campana, along with the Swing Boat hanging sofa chair by Atelier Oï, seamlessly combining traditional elegance with contemporary modern home aesthetics.

Other areas embark on a journey through Louis Vuitton’s modern lifestyle:

  • The Diamond Screen designed by Marcel Wanders is ingeniously suspended from the ceiling, breaking traditional design concepts. It separates functional spaces while creating a harmonious visual effect.
  • The Anemona Table by Atelier Biagetti is paired with Petal Chairs by Marcel Wanders, creating a harmonious color scheme. This pairing perfectly complements the Louis Vuitton tableware series displayed atop the table.
  • In the living room area, the Binda Sofa and armchairs by Raw Edges feature fluid, sculptural lines. Bold piping details create a striking visual effect, infusing the space with joyful energy.
  • The Signature Sofa designed by Zhou Chenchen, with its flowing, brushstroke-like form, is paired with the Baby Foot foosball table and sports products, reflecting Louis Vuitton’s playful spirit and creating a relaxed, cozy ambiance in the lounge area.

The walls feature Louis Vuitton tableware and porcelain collections, subtly echoing the brand’s iconic elements. These are paired with colorful Murano hand-blown Twist glassware and Flower pitchers, presenting a striking yet refined aesthetic.

Lighting and furniture pieces such as the Totem Lumineux floor lamp by LV Studio, Bell Lamp by Jay & Osgerby, Basket Table by Zanellato/Bortotto, Blossom Vase by Tokujin Yoshioka, and Louis Vuitton’s traditional hard-sided trunks are seamlessly integrated into every space. They combine functionality and decorative appeal, creating a more complete Louis Vuitton home lifestyle scene.
