In his new role, Daphné Benacin will oversee licensed brands, including Montblanc, Coach, Lacoste, and Van Cleef & Arpels. He currently serves as Regional Export Director.

Frédéric Garcia-Pelayo joined Interparfums in 1994. As of December 30, 2024, he will no longer serve as Executive Vice President, and his directorship will conclude following the annual shareholders’ meeting on April 17, 2025.

Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO of Interparfums, commented:
“After working together for more than 30 years, Frédéric is retiring. It has been a pleasure collaborating with him, and I am grateful for his significant contributions to the company’s international expansion.”

Ulta Beauty

American beauty retailer Ulta Beauty Inc. has appointed Kecia Steelman as its new CEO, effective immediately, succeeding the retiring Dave Kimbell.

Currently serving as Ulta Beauty’s Chief Operating Officer and President, Kecia Steelman will also join the Board of Directors in her new role.

Steelman was promoted to President and COO in 2023 and originally joined Ulta Beauty in 2014 as Senior Vice President of Store Operations. Known for her inclusive and thoughtful leadership, she has extensive experience in retail operations, real estate, corporate strategy, and business transformation. Prior to Ulta Beauty, she held leadership roles at Family Dollar Stores, The Home Depot, and Target.

In the press release, Dave Kimbell praised Steelman as “a strategic leader with outstanding achievements in driving operational excellence, creating exceptional customer experiences, and fostering a caring and inclusive culture.”

Tata Harper

Luxury clean beauty brand Tata Harper, owned by Korean beauty conglomerate Amorepacific, has named Shay Bennaim as its first-ever Global Brand President.

Shay Bennaim previously served as General Manager for North America at Le Labo, a subsidiary of Estée Lauder Companies. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Coty Inc.

This leadership shift signals a significant transition for the brand as its founder, Tata Harper, steps down from the role of President. Harper will continue as the brand’s Founding Ambassador, focusing on customer engagement and product development. According to Amorepacific, “Tata Harper will remain a trusted voice in product innovation while showcasing the brand to customers.”

Founded in 2010, Tata Harper is a pioneer in the natural skincare industry, using 100% natural, GMO-free ingredients. The brand generates approximately $65 million in annual sales and has established a strong presence in the competitive beauty market.
