Tiffany & Co., the American luxury jewellery house owned by French luxury conglomerate LVMH, has appointed David Ponzo as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, succeeding former Chief Commercial Officer Gavin Haig, who will retire in 2025.

In his new role, Ponzo will lead Tiffany & Co.’s global retail and enterprise commercial organisation, overseeing all retail regions and commercial functions, including client relations, retail excellence, store and brand experience, digital and omnichannel operations, and global services, while helping to define the brand’s strategic priorities. He will also be responsible for the jewellery and high jewellery product divisions, as well as the newly established strategic business development department.

David Ponzo previously served as Chief Commercial Officer of LVMH’s flagship brand Louis Vuitton. He joined the brand in 2015, initially serving as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Japanese market.

Before joining LVMH, he spent nine years at Swiss watchmaking group Swatch Group as President for Southeast Asia. Earlier in his career, he held positions at OMEGA, including Regional Sales Manager and Vice President for Southeast Asia.

TAG Heuer

French luxury conglomerate LVMH has announced that Antoine Pin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of its luxury watch brand TAG Heuer, will step down as he chooses to embark on a new chapter in his professional career. His successor will be announced shortly.

Antoine Pin has worked at LVMH for 23 years. He joined the group in 2002 as Marketing Director at Swiss watch brand Zenith. In 2007, he became Managing Director of LVMH Watches & Jewellery UK, and in 2010, he was appointed General Manager of TAG Heuer Japan. From 2014, he served as Managing Director of Bulgari Greater China and Australia, before becoming Executive Vice President of luxury menswear brand Berluti in 2017. In 2019, he was appointed Managing Director of Bulgari’s watch division, and in September 2024, he took on the role of Chief Executive Officer of TAG Heuer.

Antoine Pin is a graduate of HEC Paris with a degree in Finance. Prior to joining LVMH, he served as Marketing Director for watches and jewellery at French jewellery brand Boucheron.

Ralph Lauren

American luxury fashion group Ralph Lauren Corp has appointed Cesar Conde, Chairman of the NBCUniversal News Group, as a member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Cesar Conde joined NBCUniversal News Group in 2013 as Chairman. It is the largest news media group in the United States, encompassing NBC News, NBC News NOW, Telemundo Enterprises and NBCUniversal Local. Under his leadership, the group has achieved exponential growth through strategic investments, becoming the number one news organisation in the US, while delivering record growth in both viewership and distribution.

In addition to his leadership role at NBCUniversal, Conde also serves on the boards of Walmart and PepsiCo.

Cesar Conde holds an honours bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Earlier in his career, he served as President of Univision Networks.

Galeries Lafayette

French department store group Galeries Lafayette Group has appointed Victoria Dartigues as Director of Buying for Womenswear and Leather Goods.

For the past four years, Victoria Dartigues served as Director of Buying for Fashion and Accessories at La Samaritaine, the luxury department store owned by LVMH. She joined LVMH in 2019 through its travel retail group DFS.

Previously, Dartigues worked at Kenzo as Merchandise Manager for men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, and spent six years at Printemps, where her most recent role was Merchandise Manager for the luxury and designer divisions.

Earlier in her career, she briefly worked at Galeries Lafayette as an Assistant Womenswear Buyer, and also held positions at L’Oreal Group and BY TERRY.

Victoria Dartigues holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from HEC Montréal, as well as a master’s degree in Fashion and Design from Institut Francais de la Mode.

Dsquared2

Canadian designer brand Dsquared2 has appointed Chiara Baravalle as its new General Manager, effective 1 February.

Baravalle previously worked at Forel, an investment company founded by former Gucci President and Chief Executive Officer Marco Bizzarri, where she was responsible for strategy, investments and portfolio development.

Before that, she served as General Manager of Italian womenswear brand Elisabetta Franchi. Earlier, she was Chief of Staff to former Gucci Chief Executive Officer Marco Bizzarri and a member of the company’s Executive Committee, where she led the brand’s global strategic priorities and transformation, as well as acting as a liaison with parent company Kering Group.

She began her career in Silicon Valley before working at Bain & Company in the fashion and luxury sector. She is a graduate of Stanford University and holds triple nationality: American, Italian and French.
