Siddhartha Shukla, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Lanvin, the French luxury brand under global fashion luxury group Lanvin Group, is set to step down.

Andy Lew, Executive President of Lanvin Group and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lanvin, will continue to oversee the brand and its strategic planning, ensuring continuity and supporting the leadership team.

Siddharta Shukla

Siddhartha Shukla joined Lanvin as Deputy CEO in December 2021. Prior to that, he spent eight years at the American fashion brand Theory, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Merchandising Officer, and Chief Brand Officer. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the American designer brand Reed Krakoff.

Shukla began his career at the Italian luxury brand Gucci as Director of Communications for the Americas, before joining Saint Laurent as Global Marketing and Communications Director. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Yale University.

Cambridge Satchel

British leather goods brand The Cambridge Satchel Company announced the appointment of Vincent Perriard as its new Chief Executive Officer, aiming to accelerate growth and achieve targeted expansion.

The Cambridge Satchel Company noted that Vincent Perriard is widely recognised in the luxury and technology sectors as an expert in brand strategy, innovation, and revitalisation.

Vincent Perriard actually joined the brand at the end of last year, but the news has only now been made public. His mandate is to “lead Cambridge Satchel and its sister brand Swaine into the next phase of growth.” Cambridge Satchel’s international strategy includes expansion into the United States, Europe, Japan, and the Chinese Mainland.

Vincent Perriard began his career at the Swiss independent watchmaker Audemars Piguet as Head of Global Marketing. He later founded his own brand strategy and business consultancy, FAB BRANDS, and co-founded ORIGYN, a non-profit organisation dedicated to combating counterfeit luxury goods.

Vincent Perriard has also served as an advisor to Comité Colbert, the French luxury industry association. Over the course of his career, he has helped successfully reposition and reshape the image of brands including Zegna, Escada, and Agnès B.

The Cambridge Satchel Company was founded in 2008 by Julie Deane and her mother. In August 2022, it was acquired by French textiles group Chargeurs. Following the completion of the transaction, Julie Deane stepped down as CEO of the brand. Cambridge Satchel currently operates six directly managed stores across France and the United Kingdom, while selling globally through its official website. The company noted that its businesses in the United States and Europe are growing at a faster pace than in its domestic UK market.
