Kate Spade

Kate Spade, part of the American accessible luxury group Tapestry, has appointed Jonathan Saunders as Executive Creative Director, effective August 26.

In his new role, Jonathan Saunders will be based in New York and will oversee all product design and the brand’s visual identity system, reporting to Brand President and Chief Executive Officer Eva Erdmann.

Jonathan Saunders brings more than 20 years of industry experience. Most recently, he served as Chief Creative Officer of & Other Stories, a brand under the Swedish fashion group H&M. He has previously held roles at Alexander McQueen, Diane von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein, Tiffany & Co., and Pucci. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.

Temperley London

London-based designer brand Temperley London has appointed Morgaine McGee as Chief Executive Officer and Jack Isenberg as Design Director.

In their new roles, the two will respectively assume responsibilities previously held by the brand’s founder Alice Temperley.

In September this year, the brand will unveil a new collection led by Jack Isenberg. Most recently at luxury brand Tom Ford, he graduated from Central Saint Martins and has extensive experience across ready-to-wear and haute couture. He began his career at Italian luxury house Valentino and has since held senior design roles at Giambattista Valli, Versace, Nina Ricci, Ralph & Russo, and Jenny Packham.

Morgaine McGee has more than 20 years of global experience in the fashion industry, spanning ready-to-wear and accessories. She has overseen design, product development, production, and operations at several internationally renowned brands and, as a senior executive, has helped build and scale multiple fashion businesses. Her previous roles include Co-Chief Executive Officer of The Vertical Collective and General Manager of Signal Brands.

Arab Fashion Council

The Arab Fashion Council (AFC) has appointed Amina Taher as its new Chairwoman.

Amina Taher brings over 20 years of senior management experience across aviation, fintech, media, and sports. She has held roles at several well-known companies. During her time at Etihad Airways, she helped establish the airline as an official partner of New York, London, and Paris Fashion Weeks, while deepening its collaboration with AFC. She also previously served as Chief Marketing Officer of Wio Bank.

Regarding her new role, Amina Taher said that “we will work with governments, industry stakeholders, and creative partners across regions to further amplify the Council’s industry influence, drive sustained growth in the creative economy, and create more opportunities for the next generation of Arab designers to take the global stage and fully realise their potential.”

Founded in 2015, AFC is the world’s largest non-profit fashion industry association, covering all 22 member states of the Arab League. Over the past decade, it has continuously built supporting infrastructure for the regional fashion industry, nurtured and promoted local designers, and enhanced the global influence of Arab fashion.

To expand its international visibility, AFC co-founded Dubai Fashion Week with Dubai Design District, showcasing local designers’ work twice a year in spring and autumn, alongside international brands.

Revolve

U.S. fashion e-commerce company Revolve has appointed Raissa Gerona as President of the newly established Brand and Partnerships division.

In her new role, Raissa Gerona will be responsible for shaping the group’s long-term global development roadmap, building its cultural influence, and overseeing brand storytelling, content operations, and emotional engagement with consumers. In addition, she will coordinate the development of culture, cross-industry collaborations, media, offline experiential IP, brand building, and strategic growth initiatives, with a core focus on deepening consumer affinity, enhancing enterprise value, and strengthening the brand’s long-term vitality.

Raissa Gerona has been with Revolve for nearly 13 years and has served as Chief Brand Officer since 2014, during which she played a key role in shaping and advancing the company’s brand and premiumisation.

As of the close on July 23, Revolve’s share price fell 3.74% from the previous trading day to $24.42, with a latest market capitalisation of $1.75 billion. Over the past year, its share price has risen by 14.81%.

Playboy

U.S. fashion brand Playboy has expanded its core management team:

  • Krystle Bach has been appointed Vice President of Global Licensing and Partnerships
  • Radhika Bansil has been appointed Senior Director of Business Growth

Krystle Bach brings 20 years of experience in brand licensing and merchandising. She will oversee Playboy’s global licensing business, one of the company’s key revenue pillars. Her responsibilities include expanding across consumer products, apparel, lifestyle, home, beauty, and offline cultural and tourism sectors, while maintaining existing partnerships. Prior to joining Playboy, she served as Vice President of Brand Operations at Authentic Brands Group. Earlier in her career, she held management roles at Coach, Cole Haan, Victoria’s Secret, and Juicy Couture.

In her new role, Radhika Bansil will be responsible for the overall strategy for magazine subscription growth, overseeing member acquisition, retention, and full lifecycle value management, as well as product development and offline event planning. She most recently worked at premium membership-based dining and entertainment platform Dorsia, and previously held roles at Drift and Wayfair.

Both executives will report to David Miller, President of Media and Brand at Playboy.
