Bloomberg quoted insider news that revealed that French luxury goods giant LVMH, French beauty giant L’Oréal, and Japanese beauty giant Shiseido have all made a bid for Australian skincare brand Aesop. The bidding war is rumored to value Aesop at around $2 billion. The people, who wish to remain anonymous, also said that negotiations are ongoing and there’s no certainty that any deal would be reached.
