US skincare brand Matter of Fact has recently completed a $6 million Series A funding round, with participation from Horizon Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, James Rothschild, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, and Birchbox co-founder Hayley Barna.
Founded by formulator Paul Baek in 2018 and officially launched in 2021, Matter of Fact advocates for simplified skincare and develops clinically validated formulas with ingredients supported by research. The funding will be used to expand the brand’s team and invest in product development.
