On April 26th, Beiersdorf, the parent company of German skincare brand Nivea and Swiss luxury skincare brand La Prairie, released its key financial data for the first quarter of 2023. The company reported a 12% year-on-year increase in sales to €2.481 billion, with a 12.2% increase on an organic basis. Nivea and the Derma division performed well, achieving growth of 18% and 26.9%, respectively, while La Prairie suffered negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic in the Chinese market.
