Forma Manufacturers, the bankrupt entity of Morphe’s parent company Forma Brands, has reached an acquisition agreement with creditors Jefferies Finance LLC and Cerberus Capital Management. The deal was made as part of a $690 million debt relief plan.
According to court documents, no higher bids were made during the Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection process of the company.
Forma Brands, formerly known as the parent company of Morphe Holdings, was acquired by private equity firm General Atlantic in 2019, pushing its valuation over $2 billion, including debt.
