Simultaneously, the Louis Vuitton Maison in Chengdu Taikoo Li presents a special Dragon Year installation. Adjacent to the culturally rich Daci Temple, a millennium-old ancient monastery, the Louis Vuitton Maison covers two standalone buildings and an open courtyard, integrating retail, culture, and lifestyle spaces. The historical architecture of the Sichuan-style Guangdong Guild Hall and the newly created modern space intermingle, with a majestic dragon soaring above, blending the charm of Tianfu and bringing blessings for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

The Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection centers around the sun, symbolizing opportunity, responsibility, and elevation. In this first collection presented by Pharrell Williams as the Men’s Creative Director for Louis Vuitton, the influence of the sun is a consistent theme, reflected in the radiant patterns, warm tones, and shimmering surfaces of the garments and accessories. The pop-up spaces also feature gold, symbolic of the sun, with interior designs inspired by elements from the new season. The Damier checkerboard pattern, Pharrell Williams’ first encounter with Louis Vuitton, inspires the golden modern space inside the pop-up. Additionally, the Spring/Summer 2024 men’s show was held on Paris’s oldest bridge, Pont Neuf, and the interior of the pop-up spaces recreates the ambiance of Petit Paris and Pont Neuf.
