Fear of God

Recently, the American high-end streetwear brand Fear of God announced the appointment of Bastien Daguzan, former Managing Director of Jacquemus, as its new CEO. Daguzan replaces Alfred Chang, who had been in the role since 2023 and will be based in Los Angeles, USA.

Under the leadership of the new CEO, Fear of God plans to accelerate its development, focusing on international expansion, enhancing the online shopping experience, and increasing brand awareness.

Bastien Daguzan studied design and luxury at the French Fashion Institute and holds a degree in international business law from Sorbonne University. He began his fashion career in 2008 at Kris Van Assche, where he worked as a sales and development director for five years. In 2013, he became the Managing Director of the designer brand Lemaire, during which the brand’s sales grew from €2 million to €10 million in three years (2015-2017).

In March 2017, Daguzan joined the Spanish fragrance and fashion group Puig, taking over as head of the Paco Rabanne fashion division. During his tenure, he helped Paco Rabanne achieve triple-digit revenue growth and quadrupled the number of multi-brand retailers. He also played an active role in launching the first Pacollection fragrance line.

In 2022, Daguzan joined the French designer brand Jacquemus as its first external Managing Director, leading the brand to exponential growth.
