Kering
French luxury group Kering has appointed Mélanie Flouquet as its newly established Secretary General, effective March 1.
In her new role, Mélanie Flouquet will report directly to Kering’s Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer, Jean-Marc Duplaix. Her key responsibilities include strengthening global governance and risk management, enhancing regional integration, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
A graduate of EM Lyon Business School and a Chartered Accountant in the UK, Mélanie Flouquet worked at JP Morgan for 20 years as a Managing Director, leading the high-end luxury securities research team. She joined Kering in May 2021 and currently serves as the Group’s Chief Strategy Officer. In 2024, she became a member of Kering’s Executive Committee.
Meanwhile, Joël Hazan will succeed her as Chief Strategy and Development Officer, reporting to Deputy CEO Francesca Bellettini, who oversees brand development.
Joël Hazan’s role will focus on providing operational support to Kering’s brands, improving efficiency, and driving business growth across the Group. He previously worked at Boston Consulting Group for over 20 years, accumulating extensive experience in fashion and luxury consulting.
Ray-Ban
Eyewear brand Ray-Ban has announced that fashion entrepreneur and American musician A$AP Rocky has been appointed as its first-ever Creative Director.
Ray-Ban described A$AP Rocky’s appointment as a visionary collaboration at a pivotal moment for the brand, marking the union of two contemporary cultural icons.
“A$ AP’s influence will extend beyond product collections to store design, event curation, and more. Stay tuned for a special release in Spring 2025, where you will get to own a pair of sunglasses personally designed by the artist,” the brand stated in its press release.
IRO
French fashion brand IRO, owned by Chinese fashion group Ellassay, has appointed French designer Nicolas Rohaut as its first-ever Artistic Director.
In his new role, Nicolas Rohaut will be responsible for reshaping IRO’s product collections and brand image. His debut collection for the brand—the 2026 Resort collection—is set to be unveiled in June.
Isolde Andouard, CEO of IRO, emphasized that this appointment will help elevate the brand’s value positioning while maintaining its current price range. “Today, to stand out in the high-end market, quality, design, and a perfect fit are absolutely essential.”
Nicolas Rohaut has previously worked at luxury houses such as Paco Rabanne and Dior, collaborating with renowned designers like Julien Dossena and Nicolas Di Felice. From 2022 to 2024, he served as Design Director at LANVIN.
Comité Vendôme
Comité Vendôme has appointed Renaud Lestringant, CEO of Cartier France & Monaco, as its new Chairman.
Founded in 1936, Comité Vendôme brings together major jewelers on Place Vendôme in Paris to protect and promote the square. The association has around 100 members, along with six associate members—including institutions and museums such as the Ministry of Justice and the Grand Palais—located on Place Vendôme, Rue de la Paix, Rue de Castiglione, Rue Saint-Honoré, and the surrounding areas.
Additionally, Comité Vendôme has elected a new executive committee to advance its renewed vision. Two specialized committees have also been established—one focusing on communications and the other on arts and culture. These initiatives aim to enhance the association’s influence both in France and globally.
Alongside the appointment of the new Chairman, other leadership changes include Stéphane Actis (GR Group) as Vice Chairman and Treasurer, Stéphane Lévêque (Potel et Chabot) as Vice Chairman and Head of the Communications Committee, and Géraldine de Vulpian (Boucheron) as Vice Chairman and Head of the Arts & Culture Committee.
Printemps Group
Printemps Group has announced the following leadership appointments:
- Maud Barrionuevo as General Manager
- Jean Gasnier as General Manager of Marketing, Communications, and New Business
- Emmanuel Suissa, currently Director of Commerce and Partnerships, has joined the Group’s Executive Committee
Jean-Marc Bellaiche, CEO of Printemps Group, emphasized that the company is focused on enhancing customer engagement and expanding its omnichannel strategy. “These leadership appointments reflect our vision of building an ecosystem that provides customers with a unique and seamless digital experience,” he stated.
Before joining Printemps, Maud Barrionuevo spent 15 years at Le Bon Marché, holding various positions in the buying department, most recently as General Manager of Buying and Merchandising. She also played a key role in the launch of LVMH’s online retail platform, 24S, in 2015.
Jean Gasnier comes from Printemps Group’s youth- and sports-oriented retail brand, Citadium, where he has held multiple leadership roles since 2018, most recently serving as General Manager of New Business. Prior to joining Citadium, he built his career in the digital sector, with experience at La Perla, Burberry, and the now-defunct social marketplace Shopcade.
Macy’s
Macy’s Inc. has promoted Barbie Cameron to Chief Stores Officer for Macy’s department stores, effective February 16.
In her new role, Barbie Cameron will oversee store operations across Macy’s locations, from flagship stores to smaller-format stores, as well as call center operations. She will report to Adrian Mitchell, Macy’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
“Barbie will lead the modernization of Macy’s under the company’s ‘Bold New Chapter’ strategy—a three-year plan aimed at achieving sustainable, profitable growth—by improving the shopping experience and enhancing both customer and employee engagement,” the company stated in its press release.
Barbie Cameron has been with Macy’s for 37 years. Since August 2024, she has served as interim Chief Stores Officer, succeeding Marc Mastronardi. Her previous roles include Senior Vice President and Director of Eastern Region Stores, as well as senior leadership positions in merchandising, sales execution, and buying.
