On May 19, Proya Cosmetics Co., Ltd. announced that Wang Li, the company’s Deputy General Manager, Board Secretary, and Chief Financial Officer, has resigned from all positions for personal career development reasons.
As of the announcement date, Wang Li held a total of 177,651 company shares, accounting for 0.0448% of the total share capital, as part of the company’s 2022 restricted stock incentive plan.
During the vacancy of the Board Secretary position, Board Chairman Hou Juncheng will temporarily assume the responsibilities. During the CFO vacancy, General Manager Hou Yameng will temporarily take over the role. The company will complete the selection of new candidates for both positions as soon as possible in accordance with relevant regulations and will promptly fulfill its information disclosure obligations.
Wang Li is a Senior Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant (CMA, U.S.), a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA, Australia), and a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants (FFA, U.K.). She has previously served as the Head of Finance at Guangzhou E-Tai Digital Power Technology Co., Ltd., Financial Representative at CELLSTAR (Fengxing Telecom, U.S.), Finance Manager at Shanghai Ruili Sports Co., Ltd., Head of Finance at Nanjing Border Town Sports Co., Ltd., CFO at V-GRASS Fashion Co., Ltd., CFO at Jorya (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., and CFO at Nanjing Rituo Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. Since April 2023, she has served as an Independent Director at Zhejiang Huazheng New Material Co., Ltd.
L’Occitane en Provence
French skincare group L’Occitane en Provence has promoted Julien Schneider to General Manager of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) markets and Export Business.
Julien Schneider joined L’Occitane in 2023 as General Manager of France. In his new role, he will oversee operations and strategic initiatives across the EMEA region, focusing both on consolidating existing markets and expanding in developing ones. He will also work to enhance global brand impact and drive synergy between retail, digital, and export channels.
An expert in e-commerce, Julien Schneider was appointed CEO of French premium menswear retailer Balibaris in January 2022. Prior to that, he spent six years at Lacoste, serving as Vice President of North America Retail and Digital from 2019 to 2022. Before joining Lacoste, he spent four years at French cultural and electronics retail group Fnac, rising from E-Commerce and Marketing Director of Fnac Spectacles/France Billet to Head of Internet and Mobile Business at Fnac.
Bath & Body Works
U.S.-based home fragrance and personal care retailer Bath & Body Works has appointed Daniel Heaf as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
In this role, Daniel Heaf succeeds Gina Boswell.
Most recently, Daniel Heaf served as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Nike, where he held several key positions, including Vice President of Nike Direct and Global General Manager of Digital Direct Sales. Before joining Nike, he was Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing and E-Commerce at Burberry.
Rougj
Italian premium dermocosmetics brand Rougj, founded in 1987, has announced the appointment of Silvia Azzali as Chief Executive Officer, effective December 6 of last year.
As CEO, Silvia Azzali will lead the company’s development, including brand image, corporate governance, and positioning in the dermocosmetics market. Going forward, Rougj will adopt a price-focused strategy and invest in advanced research, innovative formulations, and targeted sustainability initiatives.
Silvia Azzali brings over 25 years of experience in fashion, luxury, and beauty sectors. She has held key positions at luxury and beauty companies including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, La Perla, and L’Occitane en Provence.
