Valentino

Italian luxury brand Valentino has appointed Tanja Ruhnke as Chief Communications Officer, effective April 7.

In her new role, Tanja Ruhnke will report to Chief Marketing Officer Yigit Turhan.

Ruhnke most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at Maison Margiela. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Communications and Marketing for Valentino North America.

Earlier in her career, she held roles including Vice President of Global Brand and Communications at Alexander Wang and Vice President at KCD Paris. She has also worked at Helmut Lang and New York production company North6, where she provided communications consulting services for brands such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Birkenstock.

Victoria Beckham

British designer brand Victoria Beckham has appointed Sybille Darricarrère Lunel as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, succeeding interim CEO Ralph Toledano.

Sybille Darricarrère Lunel was formerly Director of Global Leather Goods at Christian Dior Couture. She also served as Director of Merchandising and Buying at Galeries Lafayette and previously worked at French fashion label The Kooples, overseeing merchandising and visual planning.

Ralph Toledano will remain with the company as President.

Yoox Net-a-Porter

Luxury e-commerce group YOOX NET-A-PORTER (YNAP) has announced that Interim CEO and President Alison Loehnis will step down from her role, effective June.

Alison Loehnis joined YNAP in 2007 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She became President of NET-A-PORTER in 2011, later expanding her leadership to include Mr Porter and The Outnet. She was also instrumental in the launch of the company’s beauty division. She stepped in as Interim CEO in 2022, succeeding Geoffroy Lefebvre.

A graduate of Brown University in the U.S., Loehnis began her career at Saatchi & Saatchi and has held positions at Hachette Filipacchi Media, The Walt Disney Company, and LVMH. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Lululemon and is a member of the Corporate Advisory Board at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

This personnel change signals further integration efforts by YNAP’s new parent company, German luxury e-commerce firm Mytheresa. In January this year, Mytheresa announced that following its acquisition of YNAP from Richemont, the company would be renamed LuxExperience B.V.
