Danish accessible luxury jewellery company Pandora has appointed Philippa Newman as Chief Product Officer, effective March 9.

Upon taking up the role, Philippa Newman will succeed Stephen Fairchild, who has been promoted to Chief Strategy, Creative and Culture Officer.

Currently based in New York, Philippa Newman will relocate to Copenhagen later this year. She will lead the brand’s global product organisation, overseeing the entire creative process from design and collection management to development, and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Berta de Pablos-Barbier.

Her core mandate is to enhance the competitiveness of the brand’s collections through distinctive design, explore new aesthetic territories, and accelerate innovation through advanced materials and craftsmanship. By managing creative output, product portfolio structure and launch cadence, she will ensure that creativity is continuously translated into scalable new product introductions.

Philippa Newman brings more than 25 years of global experience in luxury fashion and accessories. Most recently, she served as Chief Brand and Product Officer at the American accessible luxury brand Michael Kors, where she was responsible for brand strategy and oversaw the full value chain spanning design, merchandising, production and supply chain. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Tory Burch, Alexander McQueen and Donna Karan.

Marco Bicego

Italian designer jewellery brand Marco Bicego, renowned for its handcrafted gold pieces, has announced the appointment of Matteo Cuelli as its newly created Global Marketing Director, effective last month.

Matteo Cuelli will lead the brand’s global marketing and communications strategy, with the objective of strengthening its global positioning and appeal. He will also ensure alignment across brand image, storytelling, markets and channels, reporting directly to the brand’s founder and Creative Director, Marco Bicego.

Matteo Cuelli has an international background in the luxury and lifestyle sectors. Previously, he held global management roles at Swarovski, Safilo Group, L’Oréal’s Luxury Division and Geox.

Fossil Group

American watchmaker Fossil Group has appointed Shannon Freeze as Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer, effective February 23.

In her new role, Shannon Freeze will oversee the Group’s global communications, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, human resources, talent management and total rewards. She will join the executive leadership team and report directly to Chief Executive Officer Franco Fogliato.

An experienced human resources executive, Shannon Freeze previously worked at Texas Instruments, where she led global benefits, HR operations and systems. She has also held multiple HR leadership roles responsible for talent acquisition, benefits strategy development and designing global organisational structures to enhance the employee experience. Earlier in her career, she worked at companies including E.I. du Pont de Nemours.

Warby Parker

American eyewear company Warby Parker has announced the appointment of Adrian Mitchell as Chief Financial Officer, effective February 10.

Adrian Mitchell brings more than 25 years of leadership experience with globally recognised consumer brands. He is known for balancing strategic clarity with a deep focus on customer experience and corporate culture, and for building high-performing organisations centred on sustainable growth.

Throughout his career, Adrian Mitchell has led large-scale, high-impact transformations. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Macy’s, Inc., where he drove operational modernisation by fully implementing AI-driven tools across the organisation, significantly improving gross margins and strengthening the company’s financial position. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Crate & Barrel Holdings.

Adrian Mitchell currently serves on the board of Stanley Black & Decker and is a member of its Audit Committee and Finance and Pension Committee, having previously served on its Governance Committee. He is also a former board member of REI. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
