Lanvin
Global luxury fashion group Lanvin Group has announced the appointment of Barbara Werschine as the new Chief Executive Officer of its French luxury brand Lanvin.

In her new role, Barbara Werschine will be responsible for leading the brand’s global strategy, accelerating its development, and strengthening Lanvin’s position in international markets.
Going forward, she will work closely with the brand’s Artistic Director Peter Copping. Future plans include upgrading the menswear line and expanding into additional categories, with a particular focus on home and lifestyle. Another key priority will be reinforcing core European markets and revitalising the brand’s appeal, laying the groundwork for organic growth as it expands into the US and Asian markets.
Barbara Werschine will succeed Andy Lew, and the two will work together to advance the transformation process. Andy Lew will fully dedicate himself to his role as Executive Chairman of Lanvin Group, overseeing the portfolio of brands including Lanvin, Wolford, Sergio Rossi, and St. John Knits.
Born in Paris, Barbara Werschine graduated from ESCP Business School and Harvard Business School, and is a seasoned executive in the international luxury industry. Prior to joining Lanvin, she served as CEO of Eric Bompard. She was also a member of the Executive Committee at Hermès, where she served as Director of the Leather Goods division. Her career further includes senior management and business development roles at Céline, Louis Vuitton, and Zadig & Voltaire, as well as experience as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company.
