The Estée Lauder Companies
U.S. prestige beauty giant The Estée Lauder Companies has announced expanded responsibilities for two existing senior executives, effective immediately:
- Brian Franz, currently Chief Technology, Data & Analytics Officer, has been appointed Chief Technology & Transformation Officer;
- Amber English, currently President, Digital & Online, The Americas, has been named President, Digital & Online, The Americas and Global Amazon Lead.
Brian Franz joined The Estée Lauder Companies in April 2025 and has since overseen the group’s global information technology function, leading the development of its technology infrastructure.
Following the appointment, Brian Franz’s remit will expand further, with a particular focus on leading the group’s enterprise-wide transformation: accelerating the development of AI-enabled business processes, building critical technology capabilities across the organisation, and driving next-generation ways of working.
Before joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Brian Franz was Executive Vice President, Global Chief Information Officer and Head of Enterprise Resiliency at U.S. financial services group State Street Corporation, where he led the company’s global technology, enterprise resiliency and data functions. Prior to that, he held several senior management roles at Diageo Plc, the world’s largest spirits producer, including Chief Productivity Officer and Chief Information Officer, and also served as Chief Information Officer of PepsiCo International. Earlier in his career, he held management positions at General Electric (GE) and AT&T.
Amber English joined The Estée Lauder Companies in December 2021 as Senior Vice President and General Manager, eCommerce, North America. Since 2025, she has served as President, Digital & Online, The Americas, responsible for accelerating the group’s digital-first transformation across the region while overseeing the strategic direction and online sales growth of all e-commerce channels in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
Before joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Amber English spent 14 years at e-commerce giant Amazon, holding a series of roles across its fashion, beauty and consumer goods businesses, culminating in responsibility for Amazon’s global private-label fashion business. Earlier in her career, she worked in merchandising and buying at Macy’s and Gap Inc.
With her expanded remit, Amber English will also take full responsibility for The Estée Lauder Companies’ global relationship with Amazon, which currently spans 11 markets and 13 of the group’s brands.
Both executives will continue to report directly to the group’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Stéphane de La Faverie, and will remain members of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Executive Team.

She subsequently moved to Malaysia as Division Director and Business Head of the Consumer Products Division, before taking on an equivalent role in Indonesia.
From 2021 to 2023, Manashi Guha served as Head of the Consumer Products Division for SAPMENA, overseeing operations across 15 subsidiaries in the region. L’Oréal positions the combined Malaysia-Singapore market as a platform for greater synergies, enabling the two markets to share business expertise and respond more rapidly to evolving consumer trends.
