Maison Molli
French knitwear brand Molli, backed by LVMH Luxury Ventures, the venture capital fund of French luxury group LVMH, has appointed Aurore Taupin as Managing Director.

In her new role, Aurore Taupin is responsible for building the brand’s operational infrastructure, overseeing finance and sales, and managing a team of around 30 across its headquarters and boutique network.
Aurore Taupin began her career in strategy consulting before spending five years at Céline during Phoebe Philo’s tenure, followed by another five years at French designer brand Isabel Marant.
Molli was founded in Switzerland in 1886 by Wilhelm Rüegger. Swiss commercial registry documents described it as a “factory of fine mesh underwear“, with products including soft knitted tops and knitted bodysuits. As acrylic fibres increasingly replaced fine-gauge knitted fabrics, the global underwear industry underwent a profound transformation. The brand subsequently found a second avenue for growth in baby and toddler clothing, at one point earning the nickname “the Hermès of baby and toddler clothing“.
