Moncler
Italian luxury brand Moncler has appointed Rod Manley as its International Chief Brand Officer, effective January 20.
In his new role, Rod Manley will be based in Paris and report to Chief Brand Officer Gino Fisanotti. Previously, he served as Chief Brand Officer at British luxury brand Burberry, where he worked with two creative directors, Riccardo Tisci and Daniel Lee.
Born in the UK, Rod Manley began his career at PR firm KCD and later spent nearly a decade at Giorgio Armani, initially in Milan and later in New York, overseeing the U.S. market. He has also held the role of Executive Vice President of Influencer Marketing and Communications at Calvin Klein. He joined Burberry in December 2018.
Kenzo
Kenzo, a brand under French luxury giant LVMH, has appointed British designer Joshua A. Bullen as its Design Director.
In this new role, Joshua A. Bullen will oversee the brand’s overall design work, collaborating closely with Kenzo’s Creative Director, Nigo. Previously, he served as the Ready-to-Wear Design Director at Givenchy, another brand under LVMH.
In his 30s, Joshua A. Bullen is a graduate of Central Saint Martins College and specializes in menswear design. He was appointed Head of Design for Givenchy’s menswear collection in 2021. Prior to that, he worked at Italian brand Stone Island for a decade, initially leading children’s collections before becoming the brand’s overall Design Director. Bullen has also worked with Christopher Shannon and Dunhill during Kim Jones’ tenure as Creative Director.
Kenzo will present its menswear collection during Men’s Fashion Week on January 24, followed by its Fall/Winter 2025/2026 collection showcase during Paris Fashion Week in March.
AMI
French fashion brand AMI has announced the appointment of Carlo Mengucci as its Global Marketing and Communications Director, effective January 20, 2025.
In this role, Carlo Mengucci will oversee marketing, communications, events, celebrity collaborations, social media operations, and media-related activities, reporting directly to AMI’s Founder and Creative Director Alexandre Mattiussi and CEO Nicolas Santi-Weil.
Since January 2019, Carlo Mengucci has served as Marketing and Communications Director for Italian luxury brand Etro. Following his move to AMI, Mengucci will relocate from Milan to Paris. His previous roles include PR Director positions at Aeffe Spa Group, Roberto Cavalli, and Alberta Ferretti.
Mulberry
British premium leather goods brand Mulberry has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Charles Anderson, has submitted his resignation to the board.
Charles Anderson will step down from the board on January 31 but will continue to support the company’s business and transition efforts until August 1. Mulberry plans to announce his successor at a later date.
Aged 54, Charles Anderson has over 20 years of professional financial experience, including expertise in global financial functions, international expansion, system transformations, and investor relations. He joined Mulberry in 2019 after working for 17 years at Ted Baker. He is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and was certified by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2000.
La Martina
Argentinian fashion brand La Martina has named fashion designer Antonella Di Pietro as its first-ever Creative Director.
The first collection created by Antonella Di Pietro for La Martina will be unveiled during the ongoing Milan Men’s Fashion Week.
Previously, Antonella Di Pietro served as the Chief Brand Strategist at Italian luxury brand Tod’s. She has also been the Creative Director and Vice President of PVH Group, the parent company of Tommy Hilfiger, and has held roles at Moncler, Ferragamo, Emilio Pucci, Givenchy, and Kenzo.
La Martina, founded in 1985 by its current CEO Lando Simonetti, is known for its polo-inspired designs and gained international recognition in the early 2000s. The brand has flagship stores in Milan, Saint-Tropez, and Megève, as well as franchised stores in Marrakech, Casablanca, Kuwait City, Cape Town, and Cairo. Its products are also available through over 400 wholesalers worldwide.
