Giorgio Armani

Italian fashion and luxury group Giorgio Armani has appointed Anoushka Borghesi as its newly established Global Communications Director.

Borghesi most recently served as Head of Media and PR at the company. In her new role, she will oversee the Group’s press and public relations departments, continuing to report directly to the brand’s founder, Mr. Giorgio Armani.

Borghesi joined Armani in 2010 and was promoted to her current position in 2013. Born in London, she holds a degree in International Management from the European School of Economics (ESE). Before moving to Italy, she began her career at Saint Laurent in London and was promoted to European Communications Director in 2009, the same year she relocated to Paris.

Alexandre Vauthier

Paris-based haute couture brand Alexandre Vauthier has announced that its eponymous founder is no longer serving as the brand’s Creative Director.

Alexandre Vauthier has filed a lawsuit with the French labor court to contest the company’s decision to dismiss him.

In February 2024, amid financial difficulties, the brand applied for court protection with the Paris Commercial Court and entered bankruptcy proceedings, seeking new investors. Subsequently, in June, U.S. fashion e-commerce company Revolve Group acquired the Alexandre Vauthier brand through its French subsidiary, L.A. Rive Droite. As part of the deal, the designer transferred all intellectual property and rights related to the business and received a 20% equity stake and voting rights in L.A. Rive Droite.

Although Vauthier remains a minority shareholder in L.A. Rive Droite, he no longer holds any operational or design role.

The Alexandre Vauthier brand was founded in Paris in 2009 and is known for its sharp silhouettes and meticulous craftsmanship. It has regularly presented collections during Paris Haute Couture Week over the past decade and has designed custom gowns for celebrities including Madonna, Kim Kardashian, and Beyoncé.

A graduate of ESMOD (École Supérieure des Arts et techniques de la Mode), Vauthier previously worked with legendary designers Thierry Mugler and Jean Paul Gaultier before launching his namesake label.

Frame

Los Angeles-based fashion brand Frame has appointed Elisa Albella as Chief of Staff, providing coordination and communication support between other senior executives and the CEO.

Albella holds an MBA from Stanford University and most recently served as Director of Retail Strategy and Operations at Alo Yoga. Prior to that, she spent seven years at consulting firm McKinsey & Company, advising fashion and retail executives.

Accor

French hospitality group Accor has appointed Coline Pont as Director of Sustainability, effective July 1.

Pont brings a strong background in responsible sourcing and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy, with more than 15 years of experience in business transformation and sustainable operations. She previously held leadership roles at Accor and most recently served as Procurement Director at AXA, where she integrated environmental and social criteria into procurement practices.
