Personnel Updates | Bally’s Parent Company Appoints Fashion and Luxury Operating Partner; Rapha Appoints Chief Brand Officer

Regent, the investment firm that owns Swiss luxury brand Bally and American fashion label Club Monaco, has appointed Mario Grauso as Operating Partner of its newly established Fashion and Luxury Group.

In this role, Mario Grauso will work closely with executive teams across portfolio companies to lead brand and business strategy, while also supporting Regent in identifying and executing new acquisition opportunities. He reports directly to Regent Chairman and CEO Michael Reinstein.

Mario Grauso brings extensive leadership experience in the fashion and retail sectors. He has served as President of Holt Renfrew, Vera Wang Group, Joe Fresh, and Puig’s fashion division, which includes brands such as Carolina Herrera and Dries Van Noten. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Celine, Calvin Klein, and Giorgio Armani.

Headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, Regent is a global investment firm focused on acquisitions in sectors including retail, luxury, media, technology, automotive, and industrials. Its other portfolio companies include German luxury fashion brand Escada, as well as DIM, Nur Die, La Senza, Sassoon, Lydech, Boundless Learning, DiamondBack, Redline, DryBar, and Lillian Vernon. Regent also owns a portfolio of media assets, including Sunset, Defense News, Military Times, and broadcaster CheddarTV.

Rapha

Global cycling lifestyle and apparel brand Rapha has appointed Jodie Harrison as Chief Brand Officer.

Jodie Harrison officially joined Rapha in April, after serving as an external advisor to the brand since January.

She was previously Chief Brand Officer at British premium fashion label Belstaff, known for its motorcycle-inspired apparel. In 2020, she founded the consultancy Fell & Scar. Her career also includes roles at Soho House (a members-only club), and luxury e-commerce and media platforms such as Mr Porter, Moda Operandi, and GQ.

Represent

British streetwear brand Represent, backed by investment firm True, has appointed Kenny Wilson as its new Chairman of the Board and Non-Executive Director.

This appointment aims to accelerate the brand’s global growth. Kenny Wilson brings a wealth of experience in leading global fashion brands and will support Represent’s strategy in luxury fashion and performance apparel, driving its continued expansion in the UK, the US, and other international markets.

Kenny Wilson most recently served as CEO of iconic British footwear brand Dr. Martens and has previously held executive roles at Levi’s and Cath Kidston.
