Proya

On June 16, Proya Cosmetics Co., Ltd. appointed Wang Yifeng as Head of Product Development and Deputy General Manager of Incubation Brands.

In her new role, Wang will drive innovation in product development while leading the team to deepen consumer insights, using these insights to continuously upgrade the core brand and identify new growth opportunities for the incubated brands.

Wang Yifeng brings over 20 years of extensive experience in skincare and personal care. She is a versatile management professional with both an international perspective and strong local execution capabilities. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Master’s degree in Information Management from Stony Brook University in New York. Her career spans global top 100 companies and leading domestic enterprises, including L’Oréal, Beiersdorf, Colgate, Johnson & Johnson, Amorepacific, and Yili. She has held key leadership positions such as China General Manager for major international brands and Group CMO, where she led initiatives in strategic repositioning, business model transformation, and product portfolio innovation for international brands in China.

Ulta Beauty

U.S. beauty retailer Ulta Beauty has appointed Chris Lialios as Interim Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Paula Oyibo, who has stepped down.

Chris Lialios joined Ulta Beauty in 1999 and has held multiple roles in accounting and finance. The company has launched an external search to find a permanent replacement.

Paula Oyibo joined Ulta Beauty in 2019 and was promoted to CFO in April 2024, succeeding longtime CFO Scott Settersten.

Galderma

Galderma GALD.S, the Swiss skincare group and parent company of Cetaphil, has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Thomas Dittrich, will leave the company to pursue a senior leadership role elsewhere.

Dittrich will remain with Galderma until the second quarter of 2026 to ensure a smooth transition through the end of the 2025 fiscal year. His successor will be announced in due course.

Thomas Dittrich was appointed CFO of Galderma in October 2019, overseeing global finance, strategic sourcing, IT, corporate strategy, and overall company transformation initiatives. He previously served as CFO and executive board member at Shire plc and held senior financial roles at Sulzer AG, Amgen Inc., and Dell, Inc. Before that, he worked in M&A and management consulting. Dittrich holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics from the Technical University of Munich and a Master’s in Finance, Controlling, and Accounting from the University of St. Gallen.

Glossier

Kyle Leahy, CEO of U.S.-based digital-native beauty brand Glossier, will step down at the end of the year.

Leahy joined Glossier in November 2021 as Chief Commercial Officer and was promoted to CEO in May 2022. She previously held leadership roles at Cole Haan and Nike.

She will remain on Glossier’s board of directors through 2026 and will assist in the CEO search.

Odele

U.S. clean haircare brand Odele has appointed Zach Rieken as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Most recently, Rieken served as CEO of Living Proof, a Unilever-owned brand. He has also held roles as Global Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bumble and bumble, and Vice President of Sales at Wella Co.

Odele is a fast-growing, clean, independent beauty brand launched in January 2020 and headquartered in Minneapolis. It was co-founded by Lindsay Holden, Britta Chatterjee, and Shannon Kearney. The brand name “Odele” is a phonetic play on the Norwegian word “å dele,” which means “to share.”
