In his new role, Dario Gargiulo will focus on building a more integrated and highly customer-centric organizational structure. He will lead the brand and commercial strategy across all distribution channels and consumer touchpoints. His responsibilities include driving a customer-first approach, enhancing brand awareness, improving the client experience, and maximizing revenue growth. He will report to Gucci President and CEO Francesca Bellettini.
Gargiulo previously served as CEO of Bottega Veneta Greater China under Kering Group. Before that, he was Bottega Veneta’s Chief Marketing and Digital Business Officer based in Milan, and earlier served as Chief Marketing Officer. He also held positions at Diesel and Heineken.
Cayetano Fabry was previously Gucci’s Chief Commercial Officer. He joined the brand in January this year, after holding executive roles at Saint Laurent, another Kering-owned French luxury brand. Gucci has simultaneously announced the elimination of the Chief Commercial Officer position.
Golden Goose
Italian luxury sneaker maker Golden Goose has appointed Mauro Maggioni as CEO of its U.S. operations.

Maggioni succeeds Silvia Merati, who is leaving to lead the Los Angeles-based brand Frame Denim.
Mauro Maggioni joined Golden Goose in 2019 as CEO of the Asia-Pacific region. He previously spent seven years at the Zegna Group, where he held various positions, including Director of Omnichannel and Retail Operations and CFO for Greater China. He also worked for Giorgio Armani for seven years in a range of finance-related roles.
Exelite
Exelite, parent company of Italian fashion brands including Liu Jo, Blumarine, Eli, and Digital Boite, has announced the departure of CEO Marco Marchi.

Marchi emphasized that the leadership transition is crucial for the company’s future, stating that his decision was based on the importance of “selecting a capable and dynamic leader to guide Liu Jo into a new 2.0 phase of development.”
According to the announcement, Marchi’s trusted aide Maurizio Croceri will assume the role of CEO. In addition to being Marchi’s long-time collaborator, Croceri is also CEO of Eli Group, a footwear production and distribution company founded in 2016 in Civitanova, Marche, and now a subsidiary of Exelite Group.
Elisabetta Franchi
Italian fashion brand Elisabetta Franchi has announced the departure of CEO Gabriele Maggio.

According to the brand’s parent company, Betty Blue: “This decision was made entirely in the interest of the company, to ensure management continuity, operational integrity, and the strategic development of the business.” No further details or successor has been disclosed.
Maggio was appointed CEO in February this year. He previously served as Chairman and CEO of British fashion label Stella McCartney. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Giorgio Armani, Prada, Moschino, Bottega Veneta, and Gucci.
Leadership changes at Elisabetta Franchi continue. In late September, the company announced that former Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri’s term as Chairman of the Board had ended. Bizzarri had held the position since April 2024. His role has now been assumed by the brand’s founder, Elisabetta Franchi.
