Upon taking up his new role, Romain Spitzer will focus on strengthening the brand’s desirability, reinforcing relationships with clients worldwide, and elevating retail operations across all markets. He will be based in Milan and will join Kering’s Executive Committee, reporting to Group Chief Executive Officer Luca de Meo.

Romain Spitzer brings over 30 years of international experience in the luxury industry, with strong expertise in brand management, best-in-class retail operations, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.

A graduate of ESCP Business School, Romain Spitzer began his career in 1995 at Guerlain, part of LVMH, where he served as a product manager. He subsequently held roles at Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances (under Spain’s Puig Group) and Yves Saint Laurent fragrances (under L’Oréal), taking on various marketing positions and eventually becoming International Marketing Director. In 2006, he returned to LVMH, joining Parfums Christian Dior as head of the fragrance division, and later held senior roles including General Manager for Spain and Regional General Manager for Europe.

From 2016, he served as President and CEO of LVMH Fragrance Brands, overseeing the fragrance and beauty businesses of Givenchy and Kenzo. Prior to his departure, he was President and CEO of the Fragrance Group within LVMH Beauty.

La Perla’s parent company, La Perla Atelier, has appointed Alessio Vannetti as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1.

Upon assuming the role, Alessio Vannetti will succeed Paolo Vannucchi, who will transition to a strategic advisor position to ensure a smooth management handover during the current fiscal year.

Over the past 18 months, Alessio Vannetti has served as a strategic advisor to Barcelona-based eyewear brand Etnia Eyewear and Italian financial institutions Allemandi / Intesa Sanpaolo, while also supporting the restructuring of editorial content and business operations at Italy’s leading art media outlet Il Giornale dell’Arte.

Alessio Vannetti brings over 20 years of senior management experience in the luxury sector, having previously worked at Prada and Zegna. He joined Gucci’s core management team in 2015, working under Chief Executive Officer Marco Bizzarri and Creative Director Alessandro Michele. From early 2020 to July 2023, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer at Valentino, joining the group’s Executive Committee. In 2023, he returned to Gucci as Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, a role he held until the end of 2024.

In September 2025, American entrepreneur Peter Kern and his wife Kirsten Kern completed the acquisition of La Perla through Luxury Holdings II LLC, initiating the revival of the historic luxury lingerie brand after years of turbulence and financial difficulties.

Gucci has appointed Tancredi Vitale as Vice President of Gucci Racing, effective September 1.

In his new role, Tancredi Vitale will work closely with Giovanni Perosino, who will continue to lead the new business division as Senior Vice President of Gucci Racing while retaining his responsibilities as Senior Vice President of Gucci Marketing.
