Rabanne

Rabanne, the French designer brand owned by Spain’s Puig Group, has appointed Renaud de Lesquen as Brand President.

In his new role, Renaud de Lesquen will assume full responsibility for the brand’s fashion and fragrance businesses.

Renaud de Lesquen stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of Givenchy in 2024, after a four-year tenure during which he worked closely with Creative Director Matthew M. Williams. He subsequently operated a strategic consultancy firm named Hollyhook.

Prior to joining Givenchy, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dior Americas and President of Dior China. He also spent 10 years at L’Oréal Group, where he was President and Chief Executive Officer of YSL Beauté, and earlier Global President of Giorgio Armani Beauty.

Renaud de Lesquen graduated from ESCP Business School. He began his career in 1993 at Lancôme, a brand under L’Oréal Group, overseeing the US and international markets. From 2000 to 2004, he served as General Manager of Helena Rubinstein Japan.

YSL Beauty

L’Oréal Group has appointed Dania Blin as Global Director of Sustainability and Science at YSL Beauty.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Dania Blin assumed the role in November last year, having previously served as Sustainability Director at Biotherm. She joined L’Oréal Group as an intern in 2011 and formally took up a position in 2012 with L’Oréal Luxe France. Since then, she has held several management roles within the division.

Symrise

German fragrance and flavour giant Symrise has appointed Mehdi Lisi to lead its global fine fragrance creation business.

In his new position, Mehdi Lisi will focus on advancing digitalisation and innovation in fragrance creation, empowering and connecting global perfumer teams, and exploring new olfactory inspirations across markets and categories. He will report to Julianne Pruett, Global President of Fine Fragrance at Symrise, and Ricardo Omori, Global President of the Fragrance Division.

Mehdi Lisi brings more than 25 years of experience in fine fragrance creation at leading global fragrance and flavour companies, with broad expertise in fragrance design, creative strategy, and consumer insight.

He began his career in 2000 at L’Oréal Group as a Fragrance Development Manager, before taking on similar roles at DSM-Firmenich in Paris and IFF in New York. In 2010, he expanded IFF’s international business, overseeing global clients and business management across North America and Europe. He later joined DSM-Firmenich as Global Vice President of Fine Fragrance Creation and Innovation. Most recently, he served as Global President of Fine Fragrance at Mane, further strengthening his professional capabilities and strategic vision in the global fragrance market.

Gallinée

Gallinée, the British skincare brand under Shiseido Group, has appointed Romain Carrega to oversee market development in Europe, while also assuming the role of Deputy Marketing Director for Skincare and Premium Beauty in the EMEA region.

In his new role, Romain Carrega will succeed Anne Ravillion, who led the brand’s integration and its first wave of expansion into continental Europe. His expanded responsibilities will include global communications, product development, digital, operations, and channel marketing, with the goal of strengthening brand building and deepening consumer engagement across Europe.

Romain Carrega graduated from HEC Paris. Most recently, he oversaw the premium beauty division in the EMEA region at Shiseido Group, coordinating strategic development and omnichannel marketing for brands including Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté. Previously, he spent more than a decade at L’Oréal, holding several international roles, notably overseeing Vichy’s business in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ulta Beauty

US beauty retail group Ulta Beauty has appointed Kristin Wolf as its newly created Chief Strategy and Growth Officer.

In her new role, Kristin Wolf will continue to oversee corporate strategy, corporate development, and new growth initiatives, while expanding her remit to drive value creation and cross-functional collaboration in support of the company’s ongoing AI integration efforts.

Kristin Wolf joined Ulta in 2019 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and New Growth. Prior to joining Ulta, she served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Tyson Foods.

The appointment comes as Ulta enters a new phase of expansion: the company has recently entered the Mexican and Middle Eastern markets, debuting in Qatar, and launched its e-commerce platform. Last year, it also acquired UK beauty retailer Space NK.
