China Dongxiang
Sportswear company China Dongxiang (HK:03818) announced the appointment of Du Zhongbing as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective April 30.
Aged 52, Du Zhongbing is the Founder, Executive Director, and Chairman of the Board of Banu International Holding Ltd (“Banu International”), the parent company of Banu Maodu Hotpot.

Du founded Banu Maodu Hotpot in 2001 and has served as a director of Banu International since its establishment. In June 2025, he was re-designated as Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Banu International, responsible for formulating the overall development strategy and business planning of Banu Maodu Hotpot, as well as overseeing strategic execution and overall operations.
Du studied at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business from November 2017 to May 2019.
The Board believes that Du’s extensive experience in strategic management will bring valuable insights, expertise, and practical experience to the Board, enhance Board diversity, and contribute to the Company’s future development.
Vuori
US performance apparel brand Vuori has appointed Heather Archibald as its newly created Chief Product Officer, effective April 20.

In her new role, Heather Archibald will lead Vuori’s end-to-end product organisation, overseeing design, development, merchandising, sourcing, and production strategy.
Heather Archibald previously served as Chief Product and Merchandising Officer at footwear brand Rothy’s. Earlier in her career, she held various management roles at Title Nine, Restoration Hardware, and Gap Inc.
Puma
German sportswear brand Puma has appointed James Carnes as Senior Vice President of Creative Direction, a newly created role, effective immediately.

In his new position, James Carnes will oversee creative direction, innovation, and product-related matters. He will align creative direction with the Company’s overall strategy, set quarterly direction for business units, and build a consistent long-term brand image and style across all consumer touchpoints, reporting to Chief Brand Officer Maria Valdes.
Puma stated that James Carnes brings more than 20 years of experience in the sports industry and a unique cross-functional skill set, “which will help Puma leverage creative direction as a key strategic driver and support the brand’s ambition to become one of the world’s top three sports brands.”
James Carnes spent more than 19 years at adidas until 2021, where he held multiple leadership roles across design, creative direction, and strategy. More recently, he has been active across the broader industry as an independent consultant and investor.
