French luxury house Chanel has appointed Helene de Tissot as Chief Financial Officer.
Helene de Tissot will officially join the company in October this year, with her office based in London. From January 2027, she will fully assume the role of CFO, reporting directly to CEO Leena Nair.
Helene de Tissot most recently served as CFO of spirits group Pernod Ricard SA, where she has worked for more than 20 years. Over the past eight years, she held the position of Executive Vice President of Finance and Technology and was a member of the Group Executive Committee. Earlier in her career, she was also based in Hong Kong as CFO for the Asia region.
Moncler
Italian luxury group Moncler Group has announced that Alexandre Arnault will step down as a non-executive director.
Alexandre Arnault took on the role in 2024. He is the second son of LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault and currently serves as Deputy CEO of Moët Hennessy, as well as a member of the LVMH Board of Directors.
Veteran LVMH executive Sidney Toledano, former CEO of Dior and currently an advisor to LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault, will be appointed as a non-executive director of Moncler Group, with his term lasting until the next shareholders’ meeting.
Last September, LVMH completed its agreed minority investment in Moncler Group, indirectly holding a stake of just over 4%.
Sidney Toledano graduated from École Centrale de Paris. He began his career in 1977 at A.C. Nielsen International as a senior data analyst. In 1982, he became Executive Assistant to the General Manager at Kickers, before joining the executive team of Lancel, where he was appointed Deputy General Manager in 1983 and promoted to General Manager in 1984.
In 1994, Sidney Toledano joined Christian Dior Couture as General Manager of the Leather Goods division, later overseeing the brand’s global development. In 1998, he was appointed President and CEO of Dior Couture, a role he held until 2018. From 2002, he also served as Managing Director of Christian Dior SE, the holding company of LVMH, until 2022. In 2018, he became Chairman and CEO of the LVMH Fashion Group and joined the LVMH Executive Committee, holding both positions until 2024. During his tenure leading the LVMH Fashion Group, and until 2026, he also served on the boards of several fashion brands within the group.
Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM)
The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) has completed its latest election cycle:
- Bruno Pavlovsky, President of Chanel, has been reappointed as President for another four-year term;
- Pascal Morand will continue in his role as Executive President.
The new Executive Committee of FHCM maintains its existing lineup, including Cédric Charbit, CEO of Saint Laurent; Elsa Lanzo, CEO of Rick Owens; Guillaume de Seynes, Executive Vice President of Manufacturing and Equity Investments at Hermès; and Sidney Toledano, advisor to LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault.
Myriam Serrano, CEO of Alaïa, has newly joined the Executive Committee. Meanwhile, Anouck Duranteau-Loeper, former CEO of Isabel Marant who has since joined Saint Laurent as Deputy CEO, has stepped down.
The FHCM Management Committee consists of all Executive Committee members along with additional brand representatives. Members continuing in this term include Delphine Arnault, Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture; Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton; Delphine Bellini, CEO of Schiaparelli; Étienne Bourgois, COO of Agnès b.; Gianfranco Gianangeli, CEO of Balenciaga; Axel Keller, President of Dries van Noten; Pierre Mahéo, founder of Officine Générale; Laurent Malecaze, CEO of Chloé; and Séverine Merle, CEO of Celine.
Departing members of the Management Committee include Sarah Benady, CEO of Jacquemus; Catherine Jacquet, CEO of Isabel Marant; and Laetitia Mergui, former CEO of Lemaire; Stefano Rosso, Chairman of Maison Margiela; and Anouck Duranteau-Loeper. Gaetano Sciuto, CEO of Maison Margiela, has newly joined the committee.
