On December 20, Artémis Domaines, the wine company owned by François Pinault, the founder of the French luxury goods giant Kering, announced that it has completed the acquisition of Jacquesson in its entirety. Jacquesson is a century-old French champagne brand. The official transaction amount has not yet been disclosed.
As early as February 2022, Pinault had acquired a minority stake in Jacquesson through Artémis Domaines. After the completion of this transaction, Pinault became the sole shareholder of the brand.
