International private equity fund Bain Capital Private Equity has sold its subsidiary beauty packaging manufacturer, WWP Beauty, in China to packaging producer AMPAC Ltd. The company also announced the closure of its remaining operations.
According to the company, WWP Beauty’s production business in China accounted for over 90% of its total packaging and formulation expert staff. Following the transaction, AMPAC will be renamed WWP Beauty.
