Bulgari Hainan Integrated After-Sales Service Center Launches

6月 19, 2025

According to the official WeChat account of the Haikou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, on June 9, nearly 100 pieces of jewelry were repaired and delivered to customers under the supervision of Macun Port Customs, part of Haikou Customs, at the newly opened Hainan Integrated After-Sales Service Center of Italian high jewelry brand BVLGARI, under French luxury giant LVMH. The center is located in the Haikou Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

The Hainan Integrated After-Sales Service Center is Bulgari’s second such facility in the Chinese Mainland, following the first in Shanghai. In November 2023, the Administrative Committee of the Haikou Comprehensive Bonded Zone signed a cooperation agreement with Bulgari Group to jointly promote the phased establishment of the brand’s integrated after-sales service center in the Hainan Free Trade Port. Leveraging the combined policy advantages of the “Free Trade Port + Special Customs Supervision Zone,” the center will provide logistics distribution, personalized services, and maintenance and repair services for Bulgari’s duty-free island stores in Hainan, its directly operated stores, and locations in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

As a key link in extending and strengthening the duty-free industry chain in Hainan, the establishment of this service center allows Bulgari and licensed duty-free enterprises to shift their pre-sale and after-sale jewelry maintenance from overseas to Hainan. This significantly shortens the repair cycle and helps reduce logistics costs for the companies.

Mauro di Roberto, President of Bulgari Greater China, remarked, “As a core part of Bulgari’s strategic layout in the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Hainan Integrated After-Sales Service Center holds great significance for the group’s future expansion of services in the Asia-Pacific market.”

To ensure the successful execution of the first order, Macun Port Customs leveraged the policy advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port and launched an innovative model combining “in-zone repairs + expedited clearance.” This model uses technology to assign a unique digital identity to each item undergoing maintenance, enabling seamless and intelligent supervision from insurance registration to return delivery.

A representative from Macun Port Customs stated, “This business model significantly shortens process paths, allowing brand service efficiency and response speed to improve greatly, better catering to the needs of the local consumer market.”

Looking ahead, Haikou Customs will continue to leverage the policy synergy of the “Free Trade Port + Special Customs Supervision Zone” and use this case as a reference to explore building a full-chain service guarantee model—from front-end sales to back-end maintenance—for international luxury brands in the island duty-free channel, supporting the development of Hainan into an international tourism and consumption hub.
