French Camping and Holiday Destination Booking Site Campings Raises €27M to Acquire Dutch Rival Bungalow Booker

On January 11, Campings.com, a French camping and vacation destination booking website, announced that it had raised 27 million euros and acquired Dutch competitor Bungalow Booker.

Bungalow Booker is a camping and holiday destination booking company founded in 2002. It operates two websites: BungalowSpecials.nl and FerienparkSpecials.de, providing booking services for more than 800 camping facilities in the Nordic region.
In order to acquire Bungalow Booker, Campings.com raised 27 million euros from its shareholders, of which 22 million euros came from the Dutch venture capital fund …
