Next has announced that it has acquired Cath Kidston, the struggling home retailer, after bidding for made.com and Joules, in a move that could lead to significant job losses.
In the announcement, Next said it had agreed to buy CK Acquisitions Ltd’s brand name, the domain name (cathkidston.com), and intellectual property for a consideration of £8.5m.
