French luxury conglomerate LVMH has appointed Sandrine Bécaud as Director of its Métiers d’Excellence division.

Sandrine Bécaud has been with LVMH for many years. She first joined Sephora in 2007 as Director of Retail Education for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region, and was promoted in 2012 to Director of Retail Innovation for the same region. In 2013, she moved to Guerlain as Director of Retail Concept Projects for the French market, and since 2016, she served as the brand’s International Director of Education and Customer Experience.

In 2019, she joined Métiers d’Excellence as Head of Marketing and Communications.

Before Sephora, Bécaud held roles at L’Oréal Group and Bayer Pharma (France). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Management from EDHEC Business School and a Master’s in Management Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Balenciaga

French luxury group Kering has promoted Nathalie Raynaud to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of its brand Balenciaga.

Raynaud joined Balenciaga in 2021 as Director of the Accessories Division and was promoted to Chief Product Officer in 2023. During her tenure, she successfully led the accessories business, playing a pivotal role in the launch of several iconic handbag styles such as the Cagole, Rodeo, and Bel Air.

In her new role, Raynaud succeeds Laura du Rusquec, who has departed the company. She will continue to deliver a strategic, creative, and product-centric vision aligned with the brand’s goals to drive sales growth, build influence, and reinforce market positioning. She will report directly to Balenciaga CEO Gianfranco Gianangeli.

Raynaud graduated from the University of Assas and EDHEC Business School, and brings extensive expertise in luxury fashion and accessories. She previously worked in merchandising, development, and retail roles at several luxury houses, including the watch division at Christian Dior and eight years at Louis Vuitton overseeing women’s leather goods. She later joined Maje and Lanvin, where she led the accessories departments.

Azimut Yachts

Italian yacht manufacturer Azimut|Benetti Group has appointed Andrea Antichi as General Manager of Azimut Yachts, effective May 12.

In this role, Antichi will collaborate with company leadership to define strategic direction and meet financial and industrial objectives. His top priority is to integrate the production sites, which are a key focus of the ongoing transformation and enhancement plan. He will report directly to Group CEO Marco Valle.

Antichi, a mechanical engineer, has a solid professional background in leading industrial firms. He joined Ferrari in 2006 and has held increasingly senior roles in manufacturing, eventually becoming Chief Manufacturing Officer. Before Ferrari, he gained technical experience at Piaggio and conducted computational biomechanics research at Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute.

Veronica Beard

New York-based fashion brand Veronica Beard has appointed Halsey Anderson as its newly created Chief Brand Officer.

In this role, Anderson will lead all brand and creative functions to build global recognition and drive a unified brand vision. She will report to President Stephanie Unwin and work closely with brand co-founders Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard.

Anderson has spent over 13 years at J.Crew Group, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing, where she played a key role in the brand’s revival.
