Personnel Updates | P&G Appoints CEO of Beauty Division; L’Oréal Appoints President of Korea Operations

U.S. consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) has announced that Freddy Bharucha will succeed Alex Keith as the new CEO of its Beauty division, following Keith’s departure on December 1 of this year. Alex Keith is set to officially retire in February 2026.

Freddy Bharucha is currently President of Global Personal Care at P&G. Upon assuming his new role, he will oversee P&G’s $15 billion beauty brand portfolio, which includes mass-market brands such as Olay and Pantene, premium skincare brand SK-II, as well as recently acquired brands including Ouai, Native, and Mielle Organics.

Bharucha has been with P&G since 1995 and has held leadership roles across nearly all of the company’s global markets. His past positions include Executive Vice President of Skin and Personal Care for the Greater China Region, Vice President of Health Care for Asia Pacific, China, Africa, and the Middle East, and Vice President of Hair Care Marketing for North America and Asia.

L’Oréal Group

French beauty giant L’Oréal Group has appointed Rodrigo Pizarro as President of its South Korean subsidiary.

Rodrigo Pizarro joined L’Oréal in 2009 and has served as General Manager for Venezuela and Portugal, CEO of the Australia and New Zealand division, and most recently, Chief Transformation Officer for the SAPMENA region (South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa).

The Body Shop

UK-based vegan beauty brand The Body Shop has named Alia Sirina Hawa as its new Chief Commercial and Brand Officer.

Alia Sirina Hawa previously spent six years at French skincare group L’Occitane International, where she held roles as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland and President for Europe, the Middle East, and Export Markets. Prior to that, she served as Senior Regional Brand Director for EMEAI (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India) at U.S. accessible luxury brand Coach.
