Stella McCartney
British high-end designer brand Stella McCartney has appointed Tom Mendenhall as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Tom Mendenhall previously served as President of the Ralph Lauren Polo and Double RL brands. He spent over 18 years at Tom Ford, holding roles such as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in his career, he also served as Global Marketing Director at Gucci.
Notably, Stella McCartney herself had worked closely for several years with Tom Ford and his business partner, Domenico De Sole, Chairman of Tom Ford. As such, she has a longstanding connection with Mendenhall.
This appointment marks a significant move following the brand’s separation from LVMH Group. In January this year, Stella McCartney repurchased the minority stake previously held by LVMH, ending their five-year investment partnership.
Versace
Italian luxury brand Versace, which is soon to be integrated into Prada Group, has appointed Eloise Hautcoeur as Global Communications Director, effective from the end of August.
In her new role, Eloise Hautcoeur reports to Caroline Deroche Pasquier, the brand’s Vice President of Global Communications.
Hautcoeur most recently served as Head of PR for Northern Europe at Bottega Veneta in London, a position she assumed in 2021. Prior to that, she held various roles in PR, talent management, media, events, and partnerships both in-house and at agencies. Her previous experience includes serving as Head of PR for Saint Laurent in the UK and as Senior PR Director at KCD London.
Tod’s Group
Roberto Lorenzini, CEO of the Americas at Italian luxury group Tod’s, is set to step down.
While the exact date of his departure has not been finalized, Lorenzini will remain in an advisory capacity after his successor assumes the role, to ensure continuity and momentum in the local market.
Lorenzini joined Tod’s Group in January 2012, overseeing operations for the Tod’s, Roger Vivier, and Fay brands across the Americas.
Before joining Tod’s, he was Commercial Director at Middle Eastern luxury retailer Etoile Group, and previously held roles as President and CEO of Sixty USA, and President and COO of Versace USA. Early in his career, he held key positions at Fendi, PwC, and Deloitte.
