Valentino

Italian luxury brand Valentino has appointed Shi Ning as Chief Executive Officer of Greater China, effective April 1.

Shi Ning will assume full responsibility for the brand’s overall operations in Greater China, driving commercial growth while deepening the brand’s cultural heritage and value enhancement. She will focus on organisational development and operational excellence, striving to translate the brand’s global vision into strategies tailored to the local market and to deliver refined and exceptional experiences for Chinese clients at every touchpoint. She will report directly to Deputy CEO Laurent Bergamo.

Shi Ning brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in the luxury sector. Early in her career, she held key merchandising strategy roles at Gucci and Louis Vuitton. She later began a significant chapter at Tory Burch as General Manager, and subsequently served as China General Manager at Chloé, further broadening her professional expertise. Prior to joining Valentino, Shi Ning was President and Chief Executive Officer of Balmain Asia Pacific.

LVMH Métiers d’Art

LVMH Group’s Métiers d’Art division has appointed Yves Cauchon as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

In his new role, Yves Cauchon will be responsible for safeguarding and maintaining category-specific artisanal supply chains and core craftsmanship, supporting the Group’s brands in nurturing creativity and excellence in quality, while upholding LVMH’s commitments to ethics, due diligence, environmental protection, and social responsibility. He will report to Ludovic Pauchard, Industrial and Craftsmanship Director of LVMH Group.

Since 2022, Yves Cauchon has served as Chief Operating Officer of Chloé, part of the Swiss luxury group Richemont. Earlier in his career, he spent the majority of his professional life at LVMH Group. A graduate of École Polytechnique and ENSTA Paris, Yves Cauchon began his career in 2002 and held several key roles at Louis Vuitton in production and materials development. In 2007, he joined LVMH’s Strategy Department. In 2011, he took over the management of Berluti’s outsourcing operations, before moving to Rome to oversee Fendi’s global supply chain, and subsequently serving as Chief Operating Officer of Fenty and Thélios.

St. John Knits

St. John Knits, the American heritage women’s knitwear brand under global luxury fashion group Lanvin Group, has appointed Mandy West as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Mandy West joined the brand in 2019 and has served as Chief Commercial Officer since February 2025. Over the previous five years, she rose from Vice President of Retail to Senior Vice President of Retail, Wholesale, and Merchandising, a role created for her in 2023. Prior to joining the brand, Mandy West was a professional basketball player in Greece. Following her retirement from professional sports, she led customer service teams at Nike and Tesla.

Founded in 1962, St. John Knits is renowned for its luxury knitwear and women’s ready-to-wear collections. The brand was acquired by Lanvin Group in 2017.
