Personnel Updates | Supergoop! Appoints New CEO; Leadership Changes at Coty and Unilever

U.S. sunscreen skincare brand Supergoop! has appointed Melis del Rey as Chief Executive Officer, effective December 8.

Melis del Rey will succeed Gregory Polcer, who has served as interim CEO since May 2025 and will continue to serve on the board of directors.

With over 20 years of experience in the global beauty and consumer goods industry, Melis del Rey was most recently General Manager of U.S. Health and Beauty at Amazon.

She holds a PhD in New Product Development and Engineering Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management from the University of Nottingham, where she also worked as a research associate. She then joined Procter & Gamble, where she spent over a decade in marketing and sales leadership roles across the company’s global beauty portfolio. Following that, she spent 11 years at Amazon. She is currently also a board member of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in the beauty industry.

Coty

International beauty group Coty has appointed Nicolas Tordjman as the new General Manager of its beauty brand Kylie Cosmetics.

Nicolas Tordjman has been with Coty for nearly 20 years and has worked for many years on the group’s Jenner-Kardashian brands. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development for Kylie Cosmetics and SKKN. Coty held a stake in SKKN until March of this year.

Before joining Coty, Nicolas Tordjman worked at Procter & Gamble for nearly four years, where he served as Finance Manager for the Carrefour Global Customer Business Development Team and as Category Finance Manager.

Unilever

Rebecca Marmot, Chief Sustainability Officer at European consumer goods giant Unilever, has announced her upcoming departure via her personal LinkedIn account.

She will be succeeded by Michael Stewart, a seasoned communications strategist, who joined Unilever on October 1 as Chief Corporate Affairs and Communications Officer. He previously held a similar role at professional services firm PwC.

Rebecca Marmot joined Unilever in 2007 as External Affairs Manager and was later promoted to Global Vice President to lead the newly established Sustainability division. In 2019, she was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer.

Prior to joining Unilever, she served as Global Director of External Affairs at L’Oréal.
