Personnel Updates | Bottega Veneta’s Global Marketing and Communications Director Comes from Celine; Nordstrom Appoints Chief Supply Chain Officer

Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta, part of French luxury group Kering, has appointed Emilie Leblanc to the newly created role of Global Marketing and Communications Director, effective January.

In her new position, Emilie Leblanc’s core responsibilities include developing and leading the brand’s marketing and communications strategy across all global markets and touchpoints. Her remit covers media and public relations, brand ambassadors and artists, offline events, cross-industry collaborations, integrated media communications, and digital marketing. She will report to Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer Samuel Diep and will also assume part of the responsibilities previously overseen by Thierry Conrad Reutenauer, who joined LVMH-owned Loewe last year as Global Communications Director.

Emilie Leblanc most recently served as Global Communications Director at LVMH-owned Celine. Prior to that, she held the role of Global Marketing and International Advertising Director at Kering-owned Saint Laurent, where she was eventually promoted to Deputy Chief Marketing Officer. She has also worked at Repossi and Editions Jalou, among other brands.

Nordstrom

US upscale department store group Nordstrom has appointed Jason Bell as Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, effective immediately.

In his new role, Jason Bell will take on responsibility for the company’s transportation operations in addition to his existing duties. His focus will be on continuing to upgrade the Seattle-headquartered company’s supply chain system, including building a more efficient, agile, and scalable supply chain network to support the growth objectives of business lines such as Nordstrom Rack.

Jason Bell joined Nordstrom in December 2021, previously serving as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations. During his tenure, he led key strategic initiatives in network design, order fulfilment, and logistics and distribution.

Prior to joining Nordstrom, Jason Bell held senior management roles at US retail group H-E-B, where he built a comprehensive supply chain planning and execution system. He also worked at Target, overseeing large-scale, multi-site order fulfilment operations and playing a key role in the development of the company’s food supply chain network.
