On 10 August, Omani luxury fragrance house Amouage announced its results for the first half of fiscal 2026 on its official LinkedIn account. Estimated retail sales reached $360 million, up 74% year-on-year, marking the strongest half-year performance in the brand’s history.

Amouage said its performance during the period was underpinned by two key structural growth drivers: accelerating momentum across all global regions, and the appeal of its creative product portfolio, led by the Essences collection and its classic fragrance lines. Drawing on its heritage of craftsmanship, contemporary creativity, and Omani cultural roots, these strengths continue to reinforce Amouage’s leadership position in global high perfumery.

Amouage recorded strong growth across all regions, driven primarily by the expansion of its boutique network, deeper client engagement, and improved operational efficiency. Sales in the Chinese market surged 286% year-on-year, leading growth across Asia.

By market

  • Sales in Europe rose 98% year-on-year, making it the brand’s second-largest market, with growth driven by Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and the UK.
  • Sales in Asia-Pacific increased 97% year-on-year, led by the Chinese market. Supported by continued boutique openings and robust consumer demand, sales in China surged 286% year-on-year.
  • Sales in the Americas grew 90% year-on-year, fuelled by the Beverly Hills flagship and the opening of new boutiques in Houston and Miami.
  • The Middle East and Africa remained the brand’s largest market, with sales up 48% year-on-year. Despite regional volatility, Saudi Arabia continued to demonstrate exceptional resilience and growth momentum.
  • Driven by exclusive product launches and personalised client experiences, sales on Amouage.com more than doubled year-on-year.

By product

The appeal of Amouage’s product portfolio remained strong, with consumer demand continuing to shift towards the brand’s higher-end offerings, as clients increasingly favoured fragrances with higher perfume concentrations and more sophisticated craftsmanship.

  • Sales of the Essences collection tripled year-on-year. Oud Zuhal, a new GCC-exclusive launch, sold out within days of its release, further fuelling the collection’s growth;
  • The Secret Garden collection introduced Love Hibiscus, which received widespread acclaim globally and helped double overall sales of the collection;
  • Sales of the Exceptional Extraits collection nearly doubled, underscoring the brand’s leading position in artistic perfumery;
  • The Attars collection welcomed two new creations, Suede Ibri and Tonka Misfah. Through these technically demanding expressions of the perfumer’s craft, Amouage continues to explore the landscapes and terroir of Oman.

Beyond its commercial performance, Amouage continued to strengthen its role as a global cultural ambassador for Oman through culture, hospitality, and industry leadership.

The brand entered into an exclusive global hotel amenities collaboration with Mandarin Oriental to launch Whispers Of The Fan, bringing the spirit of Omani hospitality to guests around the world. At the same time, Amouage received multiple international accolades, including recognition at The Fragrance Foundation Awards, widely regarded as the “Oscars of the fragrance industry”.

The brand said it remains focused on purposeful growth, expanding its global footprint, creating new sensory rituals that extend beyond fragrance, and continuing to express the contemporary spirit of Oman through a singular vision within the world of high perfumery.
